Details

Starting with yesterdays Nightly opened Scratchpads are discarded when restarting the browser. STR 1) open scratchpad - insert some text/code 2) exit Nightly 3) start Nightly 4) Scratchpad doesn't open - all text is lost what should happen: 4) Scratchpad is restored to the last state
That's not the case with FF41. Are you sure it's the default behavior? Even the web console doesn't stay open after a restart.
In Firefox 41 with a completly new profile, the Scratchpad is also reopened after restarting, as part of session-restore (Setting: Show my windows and tabs from last time).
Not on my Win 7 machine. What's your OS?

Apparently yesterday's Nightly fixed the sessionrestore issue and it's working again on OSX and Windows, afaics.
