User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 Build ID: 20150918092427 Steps to reproduce: Go to a site that can install an addon (for example by visiting https://adblockplus.org and clicking on "Install for Firefox"). Actual results: The information "Firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer." was shown. Expected results: The text could be maybe enhanced to something like "Firefox prevented this site from downloading software and asking you to install it on your computer." as otherwise the automatic downloading on clicking "Allow" could be a little confusing for the user.
Severity: normal → enhancement
I am able to reproduce. I will pass this up to a developer.
