Steps to reproduce:

Type search text in the location bar.


Actual results:

No search suggestions appear.


Expected results:

Search suggestions should appear below the location bar.  This was the default behavior of versions of Firefox prior to version 41.

All three options are checked.  I am experiencing the same issue in both Safe Mode and when creating a new profile.  History, open tabs, and bookmarks do appear as suggestions in the awesome/location bar.  However, after updating to version 41 (clean installation), search engine search suggestions no longer appear when typing into the awesome/location bar.

It may be the case that search engine suggestions in the location bar were provided by InstantFox when I was running version 40, and I assumed it was a core functionality of Firefox.  InstantFox is more or less incompatible with Firefox 41.0, which could explain why I noticed this.  I do receive search engine suggestions in the search box, just not in the location bar.

Search suggestions in Location Bar will be a feature in Firefox 43. you can enable them in 41 too, through a pref, but they have bugs in that version.
