User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20150928102225 Steps to reproduce: I write a new message or a reply to forward in a gmail account (from account). Actual results: When I change the 'from' account the text of the message is partially deleted. It does not appear in the writing window. I need to press ctrl+z (undo) with the new 'from' account to have the message in the original written complete form Expected results: The message text should be the same in all cases and only the 'from' account should change

(In reply to Bill from comment #0) > Steps to reproduce: > I write a new message or a reply to forward in a gmail account (from account). Text mode coposition? Or HTML mode composition > Actual results: > When I change the 'from' account the text of the message is partially deleted. At which position of message, was partially delete? Top? Bottom? Mid? Random position? Always start of line? or end of line? How long is the "partially"? 1MB? 1KB? a few bytes? Is it consistent length? or random length? What kind of charaacter is deleted? Any character? non-ascii? ascii? Space? > It does not appear in the writing window. > I need to press ctrl+z (undo) with the new 'from' account > to have the message in the original written complete form After From: identity change, focus is usually not moved to message body input area. If "ctrl+z (undo)" worked, it's "focus is in message input area" and "undo of paste or typed text is done". So, I guess "inserting signatute upon identity change" is relevant and "quote before reply quote after reply" is also relevant. What is your quoting setting and signature setting of first used identity and second used identity?
