it works for me (the en-US version at least), but it points to the generic search suggestions article about the field in about:home, that doesn't look like the right content for the location bar.
It also has outdated screenshots (no option to show search suggestions in the location bar is shown).

For me it's pointing at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-suggestions-firefox, which is where it should be pointing. Which Learn More link, specifically, are we referring to? The article is intended to give an explanation of what suggests are and how they work, to give the user additional information around whether they should answer "yes" or "no" based on their preference. Are you getting a different support page?

so what is missing is a screen shot possibly walking through the opt-in dialog and also showing suggestions off the Awesome bar instead of the about:home. i lost the bug - but do you know who in Sumo i can talk to and get screen shots to? I think I know what is missing. Same link - just customize to what we've added in 43 to Awesome and the Opt-in (incase they have questions).

That page is very incomplete imo. The user clicks on a learn more link that comes from the location bar, but he lands on a page that explains how search suggestions work in about:home (?), with an about:home screenshot, there's nothing about the location bar there. It also explicitly uses "search box".

The second part is good, but should come first to explain what suggestions are and which privacy implications they have.

The last part of the article has an outdated screenshot and does not explain the fact one can keep search suggestions enabled while disabling them only in the location bar.
The ask was to give people information about what search suggestions were, so that they could make a decision on whether they should enable them. I'll re-edit to address points, but this wasn't intended to be feature-specific. Good feedback, and I'll try to incorporate.

We're in beta, we evaluated the page sufficiently clear, and we plan to revise the search suggestions prompt.

Dropping relnote-firefox flag, this is old news by now.
