Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 SeaMonkey/2.38 Build ID: 20150925151141 Steps to reproduce: I use 64-bit versions of SeaMonkey browser (built from source, also tried https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~akalla/unofficial/seamonkey/nightly/) on Windows 7/64. In 2.37 (rv40) all was fine. But in 2.38 (rv41) I found a strange problem. I use Hot Keyboard Pro application (http://www.hot-keyboard.com/download/) to assign multimedia keys on my keyboard. When the browser launched initially by clicking on a desktop icon, everything is ok. But when the browser is launched by pressing multimedia key (which is assigned to run SeaMonkey) then the flash doesn't work. I see empty space on the web-pages (where flash should be) and there is no plugin-container.exe process in the process list. In both cases command line and current directory are the same. In about:plugins in both cases listed the same plugin file, and it is enabled. Moreover, some web-scripts say that the flash is present and enabled. But plugin-container.exe didn't started and the flash doesn't work. There is no problem with rv40 and there is the problem with rv41. I use this link to test the flash: https://www.adobe.com/swf/software/flash/about/mini_FMA_about_01.swf Actual results: Flash doesn't work -- empty space on the pages. No errors in JS console. No plugin-container.exe process in the process list. Expected results: Flash must work.

I wonder if the service that Hot Keyboard Pro uses to launch processes has some kind of limited privileges? In any case, since you're savvy enough to build your own copy of Seamonkey, could you also check and see if there are any error or debug logs pointing toward the problem?

It seems that the problem is in Hot Keyboard. I work under Administrator user, but in the macro settings I have disabled "Run as administrator" checkbox. When I enabled it, all works. So I have two questions. First one I sent to the authors of HK: What user is used for launching apps when HK itself was started under Administrator, but the checkbox "Run as administrator" if off? Second to you: Why it worked in rv40 and doesn't work in rv41? What was changed?
