User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0
Build ID: 20150929144111
Steps to reproduce:
Opened Mozilla Thunderbird with ZoomText alrady running.
With ZoomText set to instant hover echo, I tried to explore the content.
Actual results:
ZoomText no longer reads the text in the subject line of e-mails within the Inbox.
no longer reads the items in the folder list
no longer reads the content of text within the preview pan.
no longer reads text within the opened e-mail
still performs some typing echo functionality.
Expected results:
ZoomText should have read any text under the mouse pointer(set to read all the words in the line).
ZoomText support say that ZoomText has never worked well with Mozilla and that users should switch to Windows live mail.

From the reporter...
The problem does not appear to be fixed.
I have had a number of issues with my screen-reading software, so the suppliers gave me a new version.
The result is that I am once again having many problems with Mozilla Thunderbird.
ZoomText will only read the first few words in each line, in the body of an e-mail.
Many lines of text, it will not read at all.

Thanks. We have completely rewritten the Mail 3-pane and about:message. We probably have some new bugs in the same corner (on record, e.g. bug 1819869 and others, see meta bug 1816577), but there's no point in keeping this open as it was filed long back against a completely different backend.
