Can't access to the "?" button, "options" don't open any windows when clicking on it, and writing button doen't open any window.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open thunderbird
- trying to read messages on the homepage (freeze)
- "?" button is not available, options don't open any window
- write button doesn't respond
- you need to open a new signet to read your messages

Yes i did ! We have the same problem on 3 different computers of our network (2 on xp , 1 on seven pro)... the other ones haven't any problem (not update).

Sounds like maybe it was an addon.
Had you tried safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
And do you still see this problem?
