Changing severity to S3 because this doesn't block migration.
We don't import favicons from any browser right now, and implementing it would take significant amounts of work. (cf bug 326701, bug 711995, bug 718220).
Updating Steps to reproduce here, as Firefox interface has changed since this was reported:
Prerequisites: Edge is installed and has:
- browsing history
- saved bookmarks
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Firefox and run the import wizard via "File-> Import Data from Another Browser".
- Select Edge from the list of available browsers in the import wizard.
- Select “Bookmarks” and wait for the import to complete.
- Check the favicons of imported bookmarks in "Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks", or bookmarks toolbar.
Expected result
The favicons are automatically displayed after the import process.
Actual result
Firefox does not show the favicons until a visit to a bookmarked website.

Hi portiawu! So we've assigned you this one.
Modern Edge is based off of Chromium, so we assume that it stores favicons the same way as Chromium does (see https://docs.google.com/document/d/1U81uIPEZlY5KQavIb5sM6UM9nh1q41w_-wOIwOb_A1Q/edit#) - but we don't actually know that for sure. Can you verify that this is the case?

I don't use Modern Edge at all. I'll set some favs and give it a try :)

Importing favicons for bookmarks now works for Chrome-based browsers via bug 711995. This bug is now for EdgeHTML Edge favicon import.
