After discussing this feature with Martin Thomson, it seems the technology doesn't support an optimal UX currently and may be discontinued or refined from a product definition standpoint before UX makes sense to work through. Main issue that stands is security concerns with sharing your browser. UX feels its sub-optimal to allow sharing of all other apps except the browser as it breaks users expectations of how screen-sharing typically works. It also puts the burden on the user to understand why they can't share the browser versus Firefox vetting safe sites for them and providing the experience they expect.
