User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 Build ID: 20150929144111 Steps to reproduce: Wanted TB to remember the last selected Address Book, but separately per Account/Identity Actual results: Feature does not exist Expected results: Feature should be there... ;)
Feature enhancement created per aceman who is thankfully working on bug 1142705 to tell TB to remember the last selected Address Book. Aceman's fix will be a global fix, which is how it worked prior to the bug being introduced via resolution of bug 170270.
To fix the facts, it is Suyash and Aryx working on bug 1142705. I think they have the knowledge to fix this one later in the cycle.

My strong support for this proposal, which I had already proposed in some of the related bugs. This applies only to contacts side bar, so that user sees certain ABs depending on the identity chosen as sender. I think the easiest way to realize this is using the pref system and Account Settings UI. Something like each account/identity will have a .default pref, from which deviations for individual identities can be set.
Summary: Remember last selected Address Book per Account/Identity → Contacts Side Bar: Implement pref to remember last selected or default Address Book per Account/Identity
