This is the message displayed now - http://screencast.com/t/cB1ePMiUzeri - but the addon is installed and can be seen on Settings-App permissions. Is this ok? Verified on MP-dev, FF OS 2.5. Ashes ID: 2eb51

It's not OK at all :( You should not get that notification and it's weird that in ashes you don't get any more info about the install failing.

So that was the *only* install, correct? There's another bug about re-installs, and I want to make sure we're talking about an incorrect "failure" message being shown when the actual install succeeded.

Verified as fixed on MP-dev FF OS 2.5. The add-on is installed. A success message is displayed. The "Install Add-on" label button becomes "Installed" and grayed out. Please see the the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/X5iJP0MzJ Closing bug.
