Details
Intermittently, using a mousewheel on either my Logitech Cordless Trackman Wheel
or KENSIGNTOM OPTICAL MOUSEMAN, Mozilla will lock up and display the spinging
rainbow beachball.
One site this has happened on is a forum at:
http://www.animeondvd.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi , but it has happened
other sites as well.
Ive noticed similar lockups in Netscape 6.1 and 6.2.
I'm fairly sure it's related to using the mousewheel to scroll the current page
or a newly loading page after clickign a link. Basically, using the mousewheel
when nothing is loading never seems to have any problems, but if a page or image
is loading, I occationly have Mozilla lock up (I then have to force quit and
reopen Mozilla).
The sequence of events is usually:
1) Click a link
2) While the new page is loading, I use the scroll around the current page or to
scroll the partially rendered
3) Rainbow beachball cursor shows up after several seconds

I've been using build 2002020108 since Friday and haven't had this lock up occur.
Looks like the problem has been fixed.
