Linux RedHat 6.0 and Mac (1999-08-16-08 M9) Win_nt 4.0(1999-08-16-09 M9) 1. From the Inbox folder of the POP account 2. Select a message that contains some text and an attached jpeg image. Actual result: Text content is displayed. Right below the text content, no jpeg image is displayed. All I see is the message aligned in the center: text content is here tempMessage.eml?header=none&part=1 Expected Result: The jpeg image should be displayed when I view the message like Nova. In IMAP, the jpeg image is displayed fine.

I have MANY test cases with images in POP mail folders. In fact, these should be no difference between POP and IMAP once it gets to the image display. I suspect the email message is invalid. - rhp
I view the same mail message in Nova. It displays fine though.
Fenella - why don't you create a folder with this message in it (in 4.6) and attach the folder to this bug report?
Tested this message on my Win32 build and I see a nice picture of a rock formation. - rhp
Fenella - why don't you do this. Download the M10 build on Win32 for today and see if you can view this jpeg image. Rich is using M10. And, I know you were using M9. thanks.
Win_nt 4.0 (1999-08-20-14 M10) Using the same jpeg as describled in the original report, the result is still the same like as the original report in POP. text content is here tempMessage.eml?header=none&part=1 But when I try another jpeg, it display OK both in POP and IMAP.
