Anti-aliasing at the rounded corners. We should just add a fuzz factor in the manifest.
The more recent failures here are actually different from what comment 0 / comment 1 described. They're now "max difference: 10, number of differing pixels: 1483" -- that's a lot of (slightly) differing pixels. Reftest analyzer shows it's basically the full border of the text-field now mismatching, and the upper-left and upper-right corners are visibly different. Here's the relevant snippet of the reftest log from comment 3. If you view this with reftest-analyzer and switch back and forth between the testcase & the reference, you can clearly see that the textfield in the reference case is ~1px lower down (or maybe has its top ~1px clipped).
The pile-on failure is a regression, one of dozens, from switching ASan to GTK+ 3.
