This will be required for some upcoming testing work in Japan. Need this in Fx42, can we handle this ASAP?
Technical description, we want to port http://mxr.mozilla.org/l10n-mozilla-beta/search?string=geoSpecificDefaults&find=firefox-l10n.js over to your browser/firefox-l10n.js.
Ahh, this is needed for our test. OK, ja l10n team or I will include this pref
  pref("browser.search.geoSpecificDefaults", true);
in firefox-l10n.js of ja/ja-JP-mac locale.

As far as I've checked relating bugs and codes, I think this is needed only for Desktop Firefox. If we need some work for mobile too, let me know.
I see you also requested new sign-offs, thanks. I think we're good to close.

I also pulled the changesets in l10n-central
https://hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/ja/rev/4daf20d0e190
https://hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/ja-JP-mac/rev/79e186bd87f4

Nit: in general it's cleaner to land in mozilla-beta, pull the changesets in mozilla-aurora and merge than committing a different changeset in each repository.
