doing some changes to mtv2 wireless as our 2.4ghz spectrum was initially set up wrong. less than 20% of our users are on this spectrum, there's only 3 channels to choose from but we have every single 2.4ghz radio turned on. we have tons of cross channel interference and hopefully the changes will help with roaming. tracking for mtv2 wireless changes.

ended up disabling wap101.mtv2 radio 1 as there's too much CCI in that area with 4 APs.
noticed that alan chang's (achang) laptop would choose the 2.4ghz spectrum over the 5ghz. spoke to him and he just received a new w8 laptop a few months ago. he didn't have time for me to change the preferred band setting so i spoke to :hlangi who opened a service now request, INC0017689, to work with him at a more convenient time.
found achang during lunch and configured his laptop for 5GHz as the preferred band. he was also complaining of the "pin wheel issue" when opening pages in his browser. explained to him it was probably due to being on the 2.4 and the pages loadings loading slowly. he couldn't reproduce issue after change. achang@mozilla.com 51098* dot1x 10.252.26.38,V6 corp L 5211/2
