When typing composition string at first time, search page is modified (search box moves from center to top) at English's google search page.

Also, if language setting of Google to Japanese, this doesn't occur.
I could reproduce it even with www.google.co.jp if the Language settings is "English". Does this really block bug 1246494?
I cannot reproduce this bug on Windows. Is it fixed by bug 1224994? # I can reproduce this on Linux, though.
