Details

On a Windows platform, where the default menu method is click (a.k.a. select on
Solaris), release, click, release, it is usually also possible to click, hold,
move, release.

Compare:
1. click file, release, move down the menu, click new navigator window, release
2. click file and hold, move down the menu, release over new navigator window

When I right-click (a.k.a. menu on Solaris) and hold on the tab, no menu appears
until I release the mouse button. It would be very useful if this functioned in
the same way as left-clicking on one of the menu bar items (such as file, edit,
...).

(This may be controlled by the operating system or window manager, and may not
be possible, I don't know.)

This also begs the question of whether tabs should have a left-click menu
(perhaps click and drag to reorder, or perhaps display the same menu as
right-click, or obviously do nothing).
This behaviour applies to all popup menus on the windows builds, not only tabs.
