1218321 - Youtube download fails and file type not recognized in about:downloads

Build Aurora 43.0a2 - 2015-10-25

Steps to reproduce:

1. Visit youtube.com and play any video 
2. Long tap on video and select "Save Video"
3. Go to about:downloads

Expected result:
The download icon appears in the android notification bar
The youtube video is downloaded and it appears in the download manager.

Actual result:
When trying to download a video from youtube, the download notification does not appear in the notif bar ,only the "Download started..." toast notif is displayed and after accessing downloads manager it can be noticed that the download has failed and the video type is not recognized.

Please note that on the release version (41.0.2) the file status is "Starting...", the Android download animation is displayed but the actual download is not performed

I would assume Youtube blocks the downloading of their videos but we're not displaying a nice UI for it.

Sounds like this is a problem with MSE. We should just hide the "Save Video" option for videos that can't actually be saved.

Note to self: according to blassey, we should check to see if the src attribute of the video tag is an instance of MediaSource.

YouTube's site was giving me an error yesterday, and today videos don't seem to play, although I do see a "Save Audio" context menu item that does nothing. I'll need to spend more time digging into this.
