Set your system time to Los Angeles 31st October 2015 between 6 and 7 pm. Also set Lightning timezone to the same and shut down Thunderbird. Start up Thunderbird again and witness current time shown between 5 and 6 pm. Only manifests when using ical.js. I suspect either this or a similar bug is responsible for bug 1130047 we saw in the spring also near DST change and it's likely going to happen again next weekend.

... and it's a time of the year, the DST-community can experience the defect once again.
It is interesting that such a core issue -- calendar not showing correct time and time of events -- seem to have no real priority.
