I have an outdated Adobe Flash plugin. In about:addons, when I click on 'update now', this page (https://blocklist.addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/blocked/p1026) is opened, which doesn't allow me to update the plugin.

Moreover, the plugin check page doesn't detect any plugin as installed (bug 1218647).
Since it's forcibly disabled, the plugin check page doesn't detect it. So Firefox basically isn't helping me update the plugin, I can only update it manually.

Perhaps there's someone with extensive knowledge on plugins that might be able to help here. Should we offer a better UX and offer the user a way to update the blocked outdated plugin from Firefox ? Or this is the desired behavior and user needs to manually update it ?
