Steps to reproduce:

Port a device to use the b2g build system. It is an alcatel 6015x running b2g 1.3 already. I'm building b2g 2.5 prerelease. I based my build on the flame as both devices are based on msm8610 and they have a lot in common.

I moved the files from snd_soc_msm in the qcom/msm8610 folder to my devices and realized that the file snd_soc_msm_8x10_wcd_skuaa on my device differ a bit from the original qcom file. The two others are identical.

I moved many other libraries (not sure if I missed some vendor libs thought)


Actual results:

Sound started to work. For example I can make phonecalls and I can hear people talking and they can hear me too. Pressing buttons on dial keypad also emit sound but it is first "scratchy" then seems to work better.

After booting the device a loud voice says "To enable screen reader press button up and down three more times"...

I also downloaded a game called Maya. Sound is going out of the speaker but controlling the volume isn't possible. That said this also applies to the loud voice. Unable to control the volume. At the same time, adb is getting spammed with Thread not able to connect to the power manager service.

I read other threads about an issue similar to this one, but I can confirm that the mediaserver is up and running. It's not crashing.


Expected results:

Sound should go out correctly... And adb shouldn't get spammed.
