Prerequisites:
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0

Steps to reproduce:
1.Go to MP-dev and press the Search magnifier icon

Expected results:
1.A searchbox is opened , with a default "Search Marketplace" text displayed

Actual results:
The text is missing

Notes:
Reproducible also on Mobile
Priority: -- → P2
Also, when typing something in the search field, on MP-dev or stage using FF44(Win 7) it is not centered.

I know it typically dupes the other way, but the other bug covers the text's existence (it *is* there) and would address this as well.
