>>Project/Request Title:
Hello Door Hanger for first time users

>>Project Overview:
We need an updated panel that users will see the first time they click on the Hello icon. This will lead users into the guided tour. Ideally this panel can match what we've done with other panels in the tool bar (like Pocket).

Requesting help with copy within the panel.

>> Creative Help Needed:
Copy: Yes
Design: No
Video: No
Other: No

>>Creative Specs:
Requesting review of copy. No limit on word count.

>>CTA and Design:
See attached mock up with place holder copy. Does this work?

Purpose is to explain to users what Hello is so that if they choose not to use it now or take the tour, they leave with an understanding.

And also to make sure they know what will happen when they click the button which takes them through a short tour of the product.

>>Expected Launch Date:
2015-10-30

>>Mozilla Goal:
Firefox Browser

>>Mozilla Creative Collective:
No

>>Points of Contact:

Mock up only. Used Pocket panel as reference for the mockup.

Requesting review of the copy.

Matej, we also need to get you across the strings that are included within the tour. I've attached a screenshot of each frame, but here's the existing tour: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/hello/start/

We'd like to be a bit more specific on the tour, since we've seen this has an impact on trial and usage. Here's what we are thinking on going with:

Bubble 1:
Firefox Hello lets you browse Web pages with a friend.
Click the blue button to get started

Bubble 2:
You're almost ready. Now you just need to tell a friend to join you.
Grab the link here and send it to them way you'd like. Once they click it, they will connect with you.

Bubble 3:
No need to wait around. You can keep browsing from any tab while your friend connects. You'll be notified when they join.

There are 3 element here:
- FTU bubbles - these are delivered from the web so not subject to train model, lower priority)
- FTU panel strings - this is the top priority (P1), need this ideally today
- FTU panel design - this is high priority too since it will ride the trains

My comments:
- We need the "powered by Telefonica" footer in this panel
- The main CTA button should remain with the same color and shape as current per previous discussions regarding timing on FxUI compliance (this will come probably in FF45)
- The panel strings look good to me but I'll let Matej add his comments there
Pau, given how little time we have here we may have to just add some strings to the existing panel.
Could you please provide 2 UX as follows:
1 A FTU panel UX with the new strings required for the new user journey FTU
2 A FTU panel UX with the new strings and new visuals per Fabio's proposal

Thanks Pau, so the other one (1) would be the same without the picture?
Matej, could you please confirm if the strings shown in Pau's UX look OK?
These are:
"Click on the Hello button to browse Web pages with a friend"
"Use it to get things done: plan together, laugh together, work together."

I think we could remove "on" here. Also, "Web" is correct here, but not in the mockup.

"Click the Hello button to browse Web pages with a friend."

> "Use it to get things done: plan together, laugh together, work together."

I think I changed the order of these three in another bug, but I'm not sure. Could someone check. Otherwise I think this could be shortened, too:

"Use it to plan together, work together, laugh together."

> Button/CTA:

I shared feedback on this by email. It should be:

"See how it works"

Good job Pau, looks great.

Can you adjust per Matej's feedback. Then we should be all set.

"Click the Hello button to browse Web pages with a friend." (uppercase W on Web)
"Use it to plan together, work together, laugh together." (correct layout per other bug)
"See how it works"

Yeah, I think for now it can remain the same with little adjustments (maybe the placement of one of the bubbles) but, in general I'd put more effort on doing the one Holly is proposing.

On the other hand, thanks Matej! I'm going to address those changes and re-upload it again.
Good job, guys.

We have all we need now, thanks everyone for the quick turn-around!
The implementation will happen in bug 1219158 for the FTU panel.

We had bug 1215176 already for the door hanger FTU strings and position - I suggest we close this bug and carry on the discussion on door hanger FTU strings and position in bug 1215176 - sounds OK Fabio?

Looks great! Thanks.

Does that mean you don't need me to review the strings in comment 2? If those are still required, maybe best to handle in a separate bug?

Yes this is bug 1215176 where we initially started the door hanger FTU string discussion. Let's review the strings there since this is a separate piece of work relying on a different release model (this is delivered from the web as opposed to having to follow the trains).

Sounds good. Thanks.
