1219049 - Bright flash occurs when going into card view on the check settings requires and Internet connection page

When the user tries to open a web page without an active data connection, they are prompted that they need an internet connection. If the user goes into card view / task manager a bright white flash will be observed. 

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Aries to 20151023104059
2) Turn on airplane mode in settings.
3) On the home screen, enter a valid URL in the search bar.
4) When prompted to "Check settings", go into card view and observe.

Actual:
A bright white flash occurs when going into card view on the "Requires an internet connection" page.

Expected:
The transition to card view from the "Requires an internet conneciton" page is smooth without a bright flash occurring.

I think this issue is not a blocker.

In older builds the flash was delayed appearing further back in card view.  I treated that as a repro in the regression window.

Etienne this issue seems to have been caused by the changes for bug 1179040.  Can you please take a look?
