In the Themes seciton of the Preferences dialog, the link to "Get New Themes" is halfway visible
when Modern is selected, and completely invisible when Classic is highlighted as a result of the
theme descriptions pushing below the region of the window in which that text appears. Pictures
at 11.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Preferences and select Themes from the Appearance menu-
item
2. Select Either Modern or Classic from the Listbox
3. Notice either the lack of the "Get
New Themes" link or that it is cut off
Expected Results:
"Get New Themes" link should appear
in a fixed location.

This is how the Themes seciton of the Preferences dialog appears when the
"Modern" theme is selected. Notices that the link to "Get New Themes" is cut
off in the middle, as if the text region contaning it was clipped by something
else.

This appears to be fixed as of 0.9.8 (Build ID 2002-03-04-10), however if a
non-standard theme were used, with a rather long description, this bug would
resurface. Someone on prefs should take a look at this, and fix it by making
"Uninstall ___" and "Get new Themes" buttons set in place outside the frame of
the theme text.

Note that, yes, this works fine with the included themes. However, if a theme
with a particularly long name, author, or description were loaded, it would
cause problems. We're not likely to see this in actual use, unless someone feels
like creating a trio of test cases, but it's something to keep in mind for the
future, if you are not too busy adding new features :-).

If you want, go ahead and file a new bug on that. It would be great if you could
submit a testcase with that bug. Thanks!

If I throw together a set of testcases, this bug would have to be reopened in
adition to the filing of 2 others, for the other 2 clipping problems. I'll get
to work.

See bug 149448 for the "Get New Themes" issue, and bug 149453 for the issue of
the description becoming non-visible. A testcase has been attached to 149448.
