Steps to reproduce:

Open Dialer app
Go to contact list
search a contact whose name is ALL in CAPITAL letters (not only the first one, but all letters), or first name beginning with one capital letter


Actual results:

Contact is not found


Expected results:

Contact should appear

With a build from October 28, I can’t reproduce on Z3C nor Open C.

For the record, I tried with a contact named “ALIZÉE”, and typing “alizee” (even with a regular e) returned the contact from Dialer and from Contacts apps.

Maybe you’ve just been unlucky and this has been fixed between October 24 and October 28? That wouldn’t surprise me :)
