Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0
Build ID: 20151014143721
Steps to reproduce:
Click on "+ Event"
Actual results:
Dialog pops up with option to enter date and time, but no way to select timezone
Expected results:
Both the "Start" and "End" times, in addition to a date and time selection box, should have a timezone selection box. The timezone should default to the current system timezone, but be selectable to anything else.
The use case for this is entering plane journeys. This is really the one and only truly important use I have for an electronic calendar, and almost no calendar software gets it right. Plane journeys start and end in different timezones and that is what is printed on the itinerary. It is unfair on the user to force them to perform a calculation on their own to convert the plane's destination timezone into their current timezone.

It is already possible. In the New Event Dialog just enable menu Options > Show Timezones. Now you can specify different timezone for start date and end date. If you disable Options > Show Timezones the times will keep its timezone and will just be displayed in local time.
