1220611 - Cannot clear data in "Custom Settings" mode

Steps to reproduce:

- I needed to reset the HTTP Auth info for some webpage
- Searching the solution on the web, I found this tip :
  http://blog.jonschneider.com/2008/09/how-to-get-firefox-to-discard-cached.html
- Went to "Preferences"

NOTE: In section "History", the "Use custom settings for history" is selected



Actual results:

There is no way to clear the "history" (HTTP Auth=active sessions, but also Browsing&Download, cache, cookies, etc.)


Expected results:

I should see the same link "You may also want to clear all current history." as when  "Preferences" -> "History" is set to "Never Remember History".

Also, why does the "HTTP Auth"/Active session passwords are not shown/manipulable/deletable more simply, like through the "Preferences" -> "Security" -> "Passwords" -> "Saved Passwords"?

As a precision: "Always use private browsing mode" is also ticked

And 2 other bugs are that:
- "Show all history" does not show anything related to "HTTP Auth"/Active Sessions, so that it cannot be cleared through this menu either  
- "Clear recent history" is always greyed-out so that it is impossible to delete "HTTP Auth" data from there too

Bug 480260 — intended behavior in permanent private browsing mode.

Bug 1163630 — I don't think that link is supposed to be available in the preferences tab when in permanent private browsing mode.
