Firefox 38.4 immediately crashes when running the java applet on http://java.com/de/download/installed8.jsp Does only happen with Firefox 38.4, not with 38.3. Does happen with both Java 8.51 and 8.60. 100% reproducable. Experienced on two different PCs.

The enterprise mailing list has several reports that this also happens in other java applets.

This is a plugin bug and needs to be reported to Oracle.
I have filed a report and it is awaiting triage.
