I searched to see if the Nov 2 call was available for replay yet. I got the attached results which appear to be in random order. Off hand, I can't think of a reason the results should not be presented in new->old order by default. Or at least have an option to present that way.

That's annoying. The algorithm is that it sorts the results by Postgre's internal textindex match ranking.
Postgres will give a number between 0 and 1.0 depending on how accurate the match is against the title.
THEN, if there are ties, it sorts by date.
Clearly, the ranking can't be that different and thus the date should matter more.
