I am reading Xfree86 got Linux and it says that Motif (lesstif) applications
sometimes lock up the keyboard input and you have to switch to another
application and back again in order to 'unlock' the keyboard.  They mention
netscape software specifically.

I have Mozilla 0.9.7 and it experiences the same symptoms.  It appears
especially bad when there is a complex form and almost always happens to me on
the OpenOffice.org bugzilla site so that I simply cannot enter bugs.  Paste with
mouse and menu still works despite lockup.

At least now I have a work around for it.
This sounds like bug 82534
Duplicate,  can we add keyboard & lock to the original call.  I did search :-)
