I recently noticed in the network tab that the fonts first appear pixelated, then after a few seconds they clear up. This also happens on scrolling. I'm attaching a quicktime video showing the issue.
If you disable "layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled" in about:config and restart Firefox, does that make the issue go away?

It was already disabled (value=false). Out of curiosity I enabled it, restarted, but then the ugly fonts never popped back to a good state. I set it back to false and the same behavior happens as in comment #0.
