>> Feature Request Summary: Opening the settings app a second time should reset to the root of the settings hierarchy >> Description of feature, or problem to be solved Using the Z3C foxfooding device with the latest FOTA/OTA installed (build number: eng.naoki.20151007.074137, build identifier 20151023101519). STR: 1) Open settings app 2) Navigate to one of the settings sections (eg wifi) 3) Press home 4) Open another app, eg browser 5) Press home 6) Open settings app from the app list (ie *not* the "active apps switcher") Expected: Settings open to the main settings homepage Actual: Settings opens to the wifi section, or wherever you were last in the settings app. I know that sometimes people will want to return to the same section, however for that use-case they should use the app-switcher (long press the home button) instead IMO. (Admittedly this is easier on Android, where it has a dedicated key to open the app-switcher, so doesn't need a long press).
