Short summary:
Our wireless infrastructure was deployed with all the 2.4GHz radios enabled. This spectrum travels well and can penetrate walls so it's causing a lot of co-channel interference.

Impact of work and work being performed:
Users on the current 2.4GHz radio will automatically migrate over to a nearby radio - no user impact expected, iPad eventboards may need to be manually reconnected.

Start time/date and end time/date:
11/14/15 10am - 11/14/15 4pm

Timezone and duration of minutes
PST - about 30 minutes per office

A brief description including rollback plan and test plan:
I will be disabling and balancing the 2.4GHz spectrum in our offices. I've done and tested this in MTV2. No impact is expected, although some iPad eventboards on the 2.4GHz spectrum might need to reconnect since they don't auto reconnect.

Site effected and Service effected (If multiple please list):
All our offices - MTV2, SFO1, YVR1, TOR1, LON1, BER1, PAR1, AKL1, TPE1

Testing plan for Service desk and AV in each office is to check the iPads Monday morning in each office and confirm they are communicating with Crestron or Eventboard. If not, they should check the wifi connection in Settings.
wireless changes completed to all sites except tpe1. will touch base with nli regarding this site as she's the PoC.
