User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20151029151421 Steps to reproduce: Configured Thunderbird to store sent replies to the same folder as where the original message was (this was much earlier and generally speaking works and is nice). Then the problem: Replied to a message in my inbox (located at service provide server). Sending succeeded, but then probably due to network error, saving the copy to Inbox does not succeed. After timeout I have options to retry or cancel (which means loosing my copy of the sent e-mail). Here I am at the mercy of the network situation; if the network does not return functional, I have to choose cancel. Actual results: Saving a copy of sent email reply to inbox failed. I lost a copy of (an important) reply I sent. Expected results: Either (optimally) Thunderbird should automatically save copy of the sent message to a local folder, or at least I should have an option to request saving to an alternative location if the default location is not available.
