I am using FX OS 2.5 on a Sony Xperia z3c. If I plug headphones and watch some YouTube video (but that should also occur with other apps), the sound is played on the regular speakers but not on the headphones.

I cannot reproduce this on the Z3c on latest master build. Plugging in the headphones while a Youtube video is playing correctly transfers the audio to the headphones. We've had bugs on this in the past, like Bug 892071 but nothing consistently reproducible.

Does this happen with every video? What if you started out with the headphones plugged in before loading the video? What about other video sites besides YouTube or other apps like the video or audio apps included with Firefox OS?

Same.

A song played using the music app is also impacted.

Maybe worth to node that I am using the foxfooding version of Firefox OS.
