Details
We should already do this. But this needs verification. DownloadContentService might make multiple requests to the CDN in order to download files. We want to avoid opening a new connection for every file. Maybe we want to tweak the timeouts.

We are now using HttpUrlConnection (bug 1244760) which supports keep alive - as long as no other code fiddles with the "http.keepAlive" system property.
