If you turn on native text selection handles, we get the ones B2G uses. We should use ours.

We should consider updating our text selection handles to match modern Android handles. I believe our current ones are based on the Holo theme handles, which are really out of date now.

But I suppose this bug is about making the change to use our own custom handles, and then we could use bug 1097398 to update the resources.
So ++ to duping over to bug 1097398 for the resources update portion, as we've now cut over to core/layout/b2g AccessibleCarets code proper?

You're right, it looks like the real work for this is happening in bug 1097398.
