We tried this and were unable to reproduce in a current nightly. Reporter please try with today or newer nightly.

I can still reproduce this in todays Nightly revision 85cf2e720a84, even with a new profile. Forgot to say that I am using a Nexus 4 running stock Android 5.1.1. Reverting the ui.mouse.radius.* values to pre bug 1222234 fixes the problem. I am really completely unable to click those mentioned elements, even if I zoom in until they are basically twice the size of my finger.

Christian, I backed out bug 1222234 – can you verify this is fixed on tomorrow's Nightly?
Flags: needinfo?(c.ascheberg)
Yes, it was fixed with the update to that Nightly.
