When I tried to upload a new version of the addon "Reload on Idle", after the validation I was not redirected to its "manage version" page. Then I went back to the "view all versions" page, and I saw invalid versions with no file appear in the list. So I tried to re-upload XPI from the "manage version" page for the version without any file, then I saw this error: unexpected error during validation.

Reload on Idle: a listed addon but not fully-reviewed.

Piro, please try uploading again using a higher version number.

I didn't re-upload the version 1.3 but now it has been reviewed and published. Is it done by any AMO editor? Anyway currently there is no change to be released, so I'll report again if the same error appear at the next time.

No, it's possible that it only appeared empty initially, but the file was actually there. I'm closing this bug for now, but please reopen if the problem happens again.
