Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20151103081951 Steps to reproduce: Install Firefox. Open Firefox. Wait. Actual results: A drop down ad appears after starting a new session of the Firefox browser. These ads are ostensibly legitimate advertisements for Firefox on IOS and android devices within the Firefox Browser, put there by Mozilla. However, I refuse to believe Mozilla intentionally and deliberately would do a thing like this. Not only can these ads not be disabled, despite Firefox's inbuilt ad pop up prevention feature, clicking the X button to the right of the ad, though closing the ad in one session, does nothing at all to prevent it opening in again in the next. I don't want to get firefox on my IOS or android device. Even if I did, I have no reason to expect these drop down ads to go away. Why would they? If so, I am to endlessly suffer irritating and pointless drop down ads every time I want to use the browser.
