Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.8+)
Gecko/20020129
BuildID: 2002012903

It would appear that scripting in one tab affects the status bar when other tabs
are being viewed. Script appears to be JavaScript.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. In initial tab, open a page that constantly updates status bar with timer
countdown or something.
2. Open a new tab.
3. Go to any web site.

Actual Results: Status bar for the page with static content shows the status as
if I were viewing the other tab.

Expected Results: Statusbar shows appropriate status for each tab.

The specific page that uses the JavaScipt is
http://www.protonic.com/techs/vt.php?id=61539. You will probably have to be
signed up as a Protonic technician to view this page. This is free to do.
