Steps to reproduce:

Freedom Scientific vastly improved its support for Firefox in version 15 onwards. Version 14 is, by now, a very old version. While we hope to keep the virtual cursor and other technologies for old JAWS versions working, at least from our end, it cannot be guaranteed, since Freedom Scientific themselves no longer provide updates for these older versions of JAWS.

This is definitely not a general problem, or we would have heard from it by now. Please see if you can get a newer version with much improved and more stable Firefox support. Or try the free NVDA screen reader instead if that is not possible. Both pages work with the combination of Firefox 42 and NVDA.

This is definitely no longer reproducible in current versions of JAWS and Firefox. Closing as WFM.
