Firefox version: 44.0a2 BuildId: 20151123004034 STR: 1. Open FF44.0a2. 2. Open a bunch of tabs like gmail, facebook, linkedin, cnn, google shopping express. 3. Wait for all pages to load up. 10-20 seconds before the browser seems loaded and ready. 4. Alt-F -> exit, restart FF44.0a2 5. Notice ~20 seconds before all the pages load up, are ready and responsive. Expected: It should take a few seconds to load these pages. Actual: It takes anywhere from 15-20 seconds before I would consider the browser done loading all the pages after step 4. Do we have some benchmarking on page-load times? If so, would it be possible to do comparison build over build or week over week?
Does it take a long time for the pages to _start_ loading (be restored from session restore) or to finish loading once they start? Out of curiosity, how long does it take if you disable e10s?

(In reply to Boris Zbarsky [:bz] from comment #1) > Does it take a long time for the pages to _start_ loading (be restored from > session restore) or to finish loading once they start? It takes much longer to finish loading on a session restore than the time to finish loading on a new session. > > Out of curiosity, how long does it take if you disable e10s? At first I observed the slowness (after updating my 44.0a2 this afternoon) with e10s enabled. So I decided to disable e10s and did not "notice" a difference.
