Steps to reproduce:
Before version 38.4.0 you could right-click an email which would offer a menue to convert the email into a task/appointment. This feature is missing now.

This works for me on Win 7. Can you check in the addons manager that your current Lightning version is 4.0.4? Which localization do you use and which language is used in the respective email?
Do you get any messages in the error console (->menue->tools->error console)?
Does it work to use the respective buttons (you can enable them if not visible by customizing the menu bar)?

Yes, you are right. For some reason the last Thunderbird Release made the addon Lighting vanish. When re-installing it, the feature in question came back. We can close this ticket. Thanks.

hhandreck, can you answer these questions please, which may uncover clues to why the problem occurs?

5. You mean reinstalling the addon? Or reinstalling Thunderbird?
(I think we will leave this open for now)
