_mediarecorder _avoid _recursion .html | Test timed out
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #910903 +++ https://treeherder.mozilla.org/logviewer.html#?job_id=5941366&repo=fx-team
This started suddenly around 11/27 and so is likely a regression from something that landed around then. Also interestingly it's Windows PGO only; I see no non-PGO builds in Orange Report. This might point at a compiler issue. Not sure who should be involved from the PGO side
Priority: -- → P1
The first instance on fx-team and m-c both are pointing at this range: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?changeset=47b49b0d3236 I have this crazy suspicion that it's from https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/ec6611006fd0 - more specifically, the adding of a new test messing around with timings or something. I'd blame the cubeb update, but that was backed out. Don't see any other obvious culprits in that range. I'll run some retriggers on inbound to hopefully confirm.
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-inbound&filter-searchStr=win%20pgo%20m%282%29&tochange=ec6611006fd0&fromchange=d1e9567751fd seems to bolster that theory. In general, it looks like the dom/media tests got more orange in general with that push. Also, FWIW, OrangeFactor says that this also affects Win7 and that both Opt & PGO are affected.
A little retriggering says the failure rate on Win !debug is around 20%. That's rather a lot too much.
Whiteboard: [test disabled on Windows opt]
Hi Benjamin, Please check this issue. Thanks.
Benjamin doesn't work on MediaRecorder now.
