After some experimentation with the UI, I think it makes sense to give the alert summary the title "alert". Correspondingly, the individual alerts are probably better thought of as "detected changes".
Going to attach a patch to change the frontend. We should change the backend to reflect that, but there's probably no huge rush at this point.

See the github PR for a screenshot. I think this makes more sense than the alerts/alerts summary metaphor I initially went with.
