From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020131 BuildID: 2002013108 When downloading a page for which there is no plugin (e.g., .pdf if the pdf plugin is not installed), a dialog appears offering the option of "Open with Application". The Choose button pops up a file selector dialog presumably to allow the application to be specified. But the input field for the filename is not active - nothing can be typed there! Also the OK button is inactive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install mozilla without the PDF plugin (nppdf.so) 2.Browse a pdf file such as http://www.cdt.org/legislation/105th/privacy/64fr59888.pdf 3.When the download dialog appears, click "Open with App..." and click the Choose button Actual Results: The file path field of the chooser does not accept input, and the OK button is greyed out. Expected Results: Should be able to specify an application (e.g., acroread)
Confirmed on linux. Works with a 2002-01-30 morning build, broken in 2002-01-31. Can't focus the filename field now. I can't see any checkins on the 30th that would cause this, though... And opening the filepicker with "ctrl-O" works fine...

This was caused by blizzard's patch for bug 121011. The patch has been backed out; things work peachy for me in build 2002-02-01-08.
